My name is Wesley Dunow, and I am passionate about connecting people to the very real and active presence of Jesus Christ through the person of His Spirit. I was raised in a warm, outwardly supportive home, yet beneath the surface, unresolved family trauma and specific personality tendencies led to an experience of unintentional and severe emotional neglect. By the age of 13, I had become what I can only describe as a 'walking zombie'— completely disconnected from my inner world, and desperately numbing the subconscious pain with every unhealthy coping mechanism I could find.

Then, at 18, I had a life-altering encounter with God where Jesus revealed Himself to me in a powerful way and awakening the parts of myself I had buried so deep in the basement of my soul slowly for all those years. What I didn't realize then was that this awakening would launch me into a 12-year season of immense  struggle and emotional hell — four major mental breakdowns, a losing battle with addiction, hospitalizations, and repeated relocations across the country as I desperately fought to discover the root to my distress and remain present.

In 2020, after over a decade of chronic despair and addiction, I hit my lowest low, finding myself in a residential treatment program for addiction in the southern state of Georgia. It was there, in the place of God’s leading, that I received a particular internal diagnostics tool that would end up changing my life forever and when coupling it with the insights found on the Enneagram Personality Framework would finally opened the door for real transformation in my life through the active participation with Christ in the depths of my soul. 

Since then I have become an ardent student of the Enneagram. Leading many people into a journey of self-discovery through its framework for personality to expose what is false, discover what is true, and find lasting freedom in Christ.  I am currently pursuing a B.A. in Psychology at Boise State University, and live in Boise where I am active member of a thriving church community where I serve and attend services.
